About Me
Building systems. Deconstructing norms. Unapologetically Myself
Hello, I'm RAJ AHMED
Student • Rationalist • Rebel
Ζητῶ Αὐτάρκης κόσμος | Ἐγώ εἰμι ὁ Τάρταρος ὃν ἔμαθες νὰ φοβᾶσαι.
I'm a Computer Science student at NIT Trichy. But that's just the label. After securing a CRL of 659 in JEE Mains and battling through JEE Advanced, I did what many consider unthinkable: I rejected 60+ branches from top-7 IITs. Why? Because I prioritize the branch, the environment, and intellectual honesty over brand worship and the rat race. My journey is defined by a conscious choice to walk a path paved by logic, not by societal pressure.
I'm a builder of systems and a deconstructor of dogma. I thrive at the intersection of cold logic and raw creativity, whether that's solving an Olympiad problem, architecting a full-stack project in the dead of night, or writing a line of code that's as efficient as it is elegant. I approach my work with a hunger that institutional systems can't contain. Real education, for me, begins where the dogma ends. I’m not here to fit into the box; I'm here to engineer a new one entirely.

My Journey
B.Tech, Computer Science & Engineering
National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli (NITT)
The culmination of the grind wasn't a surrender to the expected path, but a deliberate choice. After securing top ranks in JEE, I chose NIT Trichy's CSE program over several top-tier IIT branches. This was an act of rebellion against the brand-obsessed culture, a rational decision based on my passion for the field. My engineering education begins here, on my own terms.
The Grind: JEE & Olympiads
Potential and Concept Educations, Guwahati
This period was a warzone: academically, mentally, and emotionally. I moved to Guwahati and joined a coaching factory. While I became the topper and cracked a slew of prestigious Olympiads (IOQM, RMO, NSEA, INAO, etc.), it was a brutal fight against a system designed to create machines. They tried to mold me; instead, I sharpened myself into a weapon. Every insult and every sleepless night fueled the fire that resulted in a 99.96%ile in JEE Main and the clarity to make the choice that followed.
The Spark: High School & Self-Learning
New Look Academy
Class 8 to 10 was my genesis. The engineer spark turned into a full-blown mission. While classmates dealt with basic algebra, I was solving higher-level problems. The lockdown wasn't a pause; it was an accelerator. I taught myself coding (Python, C++), web design, and devoured physics and math books like a man possessed. I was topping exams, winning writing competitions, and building the foundation for the chaos to come.
The Foundation: Early Life & Scars
Sibsagar, Assam
My story started with literal and figurative fights for survival. From a severe lung illness at birth to a school accident met with institutional neglect. These early years weren't about learning subjects; they were about learning resilience. Shifting schools, I channeled pain and rage into purpose, topping every exam and finding solace in logic, poems, and the quiet ambition that I didn't need a crowd to feel powerful.
Have an idea worth debating?
I'm always open to collaborating on compelling projects and challenging ideas. If you want to build something that matters or deconstruct a flawed system, let's talk.
